Can an uncircumcised boy perform Umrah with his parents?

My question is regarding umrah.

Can a 6 year old boy who is not circumcised perform umrah with his parents? Are there any special conditions or rules played upon the child?

Please advise.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for an uncircumcised minor to perform Umrah with his parents.

It is preferable for the Wali (legal guardian) of a minor to do the following: [1] [2]

  • To clean the child.
  • To wash him.
  • To clothe him with the two pieces of clothing;

a) Lower garment (Izaar)

b) Upper garment ( Ridaa)
